Stephanie Haasis, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Stephanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked with people from all walks of life. Stephanie also holds a Master’s in Addiction Counseling. She is most passionate about working with children, teens, and adults during their lifetime. Stephanie uses an integrative approach to assist clients in learning to manage daily stressors.

Stephanie has lived in a variety of different places, ranging from urban life to rural life. She enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, and hiking with her dogs. Stephanie enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures and activities.

Education and Experience
Stephanie earned her Master’s degree in 2016 from Grand Canyon University, majoring in Professional Counseling. Stephanie obtained her Master’s in Addiction Counseling in 2019 and holds a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and Alaska.

Stephanie began working in the mental health field in 2016 as a counselor specializing in trauma and Addiction with an Alaska Native tribe. She spent three years there before switching to crisis counseling at a local hospital in Alaska. Stephanie has worked with individuals within the criminal justice system and is an EMDR-trained therapist.

Counseling Perspective
Stephanie believes in a collaborative, holistic approach. Her therapeutic framework involves trauma-informed care, dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and strength-based approaches. Stephanie works alongside clients with unconditional positive regard, respecting and supporting their progress. She believes that when individuals are greeted from a non-judgmental viewpoint, they open the door for self-exploration and help develop critical social support for clients. She will work collaboratively towards reaching your goals.
